- Send 3/4 tracks in one playlist (we recommend Soundcloud) and avoid wetransfer or download links at all costs!
- A soundcloud message with a playlist (if the labels active there) would be our recommended way to send music. Email would be ourt second recommendation.
- Try and get support on your tracks from your favourite or respected DJ’s. When sending a demo if you can drop a name or two in there, you already stand out from the crowd.
- Do not be disheartened by not hearing anything back. This is part of the process but keep your consistency up in the studio and stick at it until your music is grabbing labels attention.
- Most label owners and DJs are usually very busy so you want to send your best music and really try to get their attention as they are probably flooded with emails.
- Posting small clips on instagram or soundcloud helps get noticed and we have signed music many times this way.
- If you still don’t have any label replies, bandcamp is a great way to self release and you can get DJs and labels attention very quick this way. We have signed music from bandcamp or found artists countless times. Good luck!
